XPTuneup – Tool to Customize XP Professional
If you’re using the XP Professional operating system, there are two ways to customize it. The first way is to do it all on your own. You could access all the hidden settings and set the operating system up just the way you want it. There is one problem with this approach – the fact that you have to know what settings to access and how to access them. If you’re an expert, you shouldn’t have much of a problem customizing XP Professional just the way you want it. But the simple truth of the matter is that most users are not computer experts. So you’re not an expert and you don’t have intimate knowledge of the operating system, going about it this way may prove to be a big pain in the unmentionables.
And this is where the second way to customize the Windows XP Professional operating system comes in. Instead of doing things all on your own, you can get help – help that comes in the form of a specialized piece of software. To put it in other words, you can turn to specialized software for help. The specialized software that can prove to be useful in this situation is the XPTuneup Software and Consulting-developed and appropriately named XPTuneup.
There are two main things you are going to like about this application:
Ease of use – the application comes with a fairly simple to understand user interface that should not pose a problem to any user. This is nice because, as I’ve already mentioned, you are not an expert user and like thins to be nice and easy to use
Functionality – provides you with easy access to numerous ways to customize your XP Professional operating system, can make your operating system faster and more stable, can enhanced network performance and download speeds. Furthermore, the application comes with a registry scanner, a process monitor, and gives access to admin options (control auto logon feature, add/remove entries in the Control Panel, run Microsoft Console Applications).
Please note that XPTuneup is not offered free of charge – it is only free to try. This means that you can use XPTuneup free of charge for 5 days of 10 executions, whichever comes first. Once the trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.
